This will depend on what EyeLink system you are using. With the EyeLink II a crossover ethernet cable is required to connect the Host and Display PCs. However, this is unnecessary with most configurations with the EyeLink 1000 and EyeLink 1000 Plus. Configurations where the Display PC is running a older operating systems may still require a crossover cable for proper communication, but for most modern configurations this is unnecessary.
