The EyeLink 1000 Plus camera requires a full gigabit ethernet connection. This requires a CAT6 ethernet cable to complete the connection. Older CAT5 ethernet cables will not provide sufficient bandwidth for communication with the camera. CAT6 ethernet cables can be purchased from most major retailers.
