If the camera is occasionally switching eyes after tracking loss, this is generally due to a failure to use the “Search Limits” feature of the Host PC software, or setting your Search Limits too large. The switching can be prevented by enabling the Search Limits feature which will show up as a red ellipse in the camera image. To enable Search Limits go to the Set Options screen of the Host PC software and select the “Use Search Limits” button.
During camera setup, the position of these Search Limits can be moved by clicking in the eye image or by holding the SHIFT key and using the arrows keys (←↑↓→) to adjust the position of the ellipse. Please make sure the ellipse is centered over the eye(s) in the global camera view.
Similarly, the size / shape of the Search Limits can also be adjusted. Please make sure that the Search Limits are of a reasonable size to capture only the eye which you wish to track. The size of the Search Limits can be adjusted by holding ALT and using the arrow keys (←↑↓→) to adjust the horizontal / vertical dimensions. Important: Always make sure that the Search Limits are not made smaller than the green square they enclose.
