This warning indicates that the EyeLink partition on the Host PC is full and that there is no more room to record new data.
For the EyeLink II and EyeLink 1000:
You have two options to modify files on the Host PC. To modify the files directly from the Host PC:
Alternatively, you can use the dedicated Ethernet link to perform the cleanup:
For the EyeLink II and EyeLink 1000:
- Reboot the computer and select the Windows partition when prompted.
- Navigate to the EyeLink Drive (typically E:/ or D:/).
- Backup all of the EDF files to the desktop.
- Remove all the EDF files from the EyeLink Drive.
- Reboot the Host PC and enter the EyeLink partition.
You have two options to modify files on the Host PC. To modify the files directly from the Host PC:
- Enter the File Manager (press CRTL+ALT+Q or select Exit EyeLink).
- Copy the contents to the /ELCL/DATA/ folder to a FAT32 formatted USB drive
- Remove the originals from the drive to clear space.
- Click the EyeLink Logo in the top left corner of the interface to restart the Host software.
Alternatively, you can use the dedicated Ethernet link to perform the cleanup:
- Exit the Host software on the EyeLink Host PC to access the File Manager (press CRTL+ALT+Q or select Exit EyeLink).
- On the connected Display PC open a web browser.
- Enter the Host PC IP address (e.g. 100.1.1.1) in the URL bar and navigate to the remote file manager
- Navigate to the /ELCL/DATA folder.
- Select the EDF files and click the download button to download the files to your browser's Download folder.
- Once you have confirmed the files are downloaded, delete them from the /ELCL/DATA/ folder via the bowser interface.
- Click the EyeLink Logo in the File Manger interface to restart the host software.
