If your mount type isn't visible on the Set Options screen of the Host PC, it means the software cannot detect the connected mount type. This is usually caused by then the illuminator is not properly connected to the camera.
For Desktop, Arm, or Tower Mounts
If a Desktop mount is not being detected, the problem is almost always the two miniplug "headphone" type cables (3.5 mm).

For the Long Range Mount
If a Long Range mount isn't being detected, check the following connections:

If a Desktop mount is not being detected, the problem is almost always the two miniplug "headphone" type cables (3.5 mm).
- Reseat the Cables: Unplug both miniplug cables from the camera and then plug them back in firmly to ensure a secure connection.
- Restart the Software: Restart the Host PC software and check the Set Options screen again.
- For the Desktop or Arm Mount, it doesn't matter which miniplug goes into which socket.
- For the Tower Mount, the cables and ports are labeled for "left" and "right" and must be connected accordingly.
For the Long Range Mount
If a Long Range mount isn't being detected, check the following connections:
- Fiber Optic Cable: Ensure the fiber optic cable is securely seated at both ends (at the camera and the Host PC).
- Power: Verify that the Fiber Optic Camera Head is connected to power and turned on. If you are using the battery pack, make sure the battery is charged and the power switch is in the ON position.
- Restart the Software: After checking the connections, restart the Host PC software and check the Set Options screen again.
