This example illustrates:
The Paced Auditory Serial Addition Task (PASAT) is a serial-addition task used to assess the auditory information processing speed and flexibility, sustained attention, and working memory, as well as calculation ability. The task was originally developed by Dorothy Gronwall.
Two versions were attached here. PASAT_ASIO.ebz requires a recommended ASIO sound card installed on your display PC (see section "Installation -> System Requirements -> ASIO Sound Card Installation" of the Experiment Builder User Manual). This version allows for precise audio timing as well as recording the participant's verbal response.

- Download the PASAT_ASIO.ebz or PASAT_DirectX.ebz example from this message.
- Launch the Experiment Builder application.
- Unpack the PASAT_ASIO.ebz or PASAT_DirectX.ebz file to a location on your Experiment Builder PC with "File menu -> Unpack".
- Open the project in Experiment Builder.
- Deploy the project to a new folder.
- Run the PASAT_ASIO.exe or PASAT_DirectX.exe project from the deployed directory.
