This example illustrates:

• How to use Conditional nodes to sort through the different task for each block
  
• How to use Accumulators and AddToAccumulators action nodes to store RTs and display mean RT
  

Description:

This example project is an implementation of the Implicit Association Test (IAT) described in the following paper:

• Greenwald, A. G., McGhee, D. E., & Schwartz, J. L. K. (1998). Measuring individual differences in implicit cognition: The implicit association test. Journal of Personality and Social Psychology. Vol 74, 1464-1480.
  

The IAT experiments involve 2 sessions. Each session consists of 50 trials. In the first session, the words of flowers and insects are used for 5 IAT tasks; in the second session, those of musical instruments and weapons are used for 4 IAT tasks. In 4 out of the 9 tasks, positive and negative words are also used. At the end of each session, the mean response latency and error rate for each task of the session are reported on the display screen.

Instructions:

1. Download the IATProject.ebz example from this message.
   
2. Launch the Experiment Builder application.
   
3. Unpack the IATProject.ebz file to a location on your Experiment Builder PC with "File menu -> Unpack".
   
4. Open the project in Experiment Builder.
   
5. Deploy the project to a new folder.
   
6. Run the IATProject.exe from the deployed directory.
