FAQ: Does Experiment Builder support image transparency?
#1
Experiment Builder supports images with transparent areas (alpha channels), but this feature must be enabled manually for each file.

By default, Experiment Builder ignores the alpha channel. This causes transparent parts of an image to appear as solid black boxes during the experiment.

To display transparency correctly, you must adjust the properties for each specific image resource:
  1. Navigate to the Resources library tab (usually on the left side of the interface) and select the image file.
  2. In the Properties panel, locate Use Color Key and set it to False (uncheck the box).
  3. Locate Ignore Alpha and set it to False (uncheck the box).

The steps above are for fixing the "black box" issue. If you are experiencing different visual problems, such as screens incorrectly overlaid on top of each other or seeing white pixels around your image, please see the support article on using the FAQ on using the Color Key and Transparent Color properties.
