Experiment Builder does have support for image files with transparency (i.e. an alpha channel).
By default, Experiment Builder does not use an image's alpha channel, so the transparent layer will show as a solid black box around the image when the project is test-run or deployed.
To use transparency with an image file, navigate to the image resource and set the Use Color Key property to False (untick it) and leave the Ignore Alpha property unchecked (False).
