You can easily move, resize, and modify Interest Areas (IAs) in several ways.
Direct Manipulation (Using the ALT/Option Key)
You can quickly resize or move an IA using a keyboard modifier.
For more options, select an IA, right-click on it, and choose IA Shape Actions. This menu allows you to:
For exact positioning, you can directly edit an IA's pixel coordinates. Select the IA, and in the lower panel of the Inspector > Data tab, you can manually enter the numerical values for its left, right, top, and bottom boundaries.

- To Resize an IA:
- Select the IA.
- Hold down the ALT (on Windows) or Option (on Mac) key.
- Move your cursor over an edge or corner until it becomes a double-sided arrow, then click and drag to resize.
- Select the IA.

- Select the IA.
- Hold down the ALT / Option key.
- Move your cursor inside the IA, then click and drag to reposition it.
- Select the IA.

- Resize Edges: Enlarge or shrink an edge by a specific number of pixels.
- Resize by %: Scale the entire IA by a percentage.
- Rotate or Flip the IA.
- Convert the IA to a different shape (e.g., from a rectangle to an ellipse).
