To resize an IA's boundary (either an edge, corner, or point), select the Interest Area and move the cursor over the desired boundary of the Interest Area while holding the ALT key. You should see the arrow cursor change into a double-sided arrow. Click and drag to resize that boundary of the Interest Area.
To move an IA, hold down the ALT key and move the cursor within the Interest Area, clicking and dragging the Interest Area will allow for re-positioning.
Right clicking an Interest Area when selected and selecting "IA Shape Actions" will reveal other ways of how Interest Areas can be manipulated. For instance, the "Resize Edges" will allow to enlarge or reduce any edge by a given number of pixels. Similarly, "Resize by %" will scale an Interest Area by percentages instead of pixels. There are also options to rotate, flip, or convert Interest Areas to other shapes.
Alternatively, it is also possible to adjust the size and location of the Interest Area by changing the numbers shown for the left, right, top, bottom and center properties in lower panel of the Data tab in Inspector window.
