Freehand Interest Areas are defined by a series of points that form the shape's outline. You can easily adjust, add, or remove these points to precisely match your stimulus.
Other Manipulation Options
For more general changes, you can right-click on any selected Interest Area to access additional options like rotating, resizing, or converting its shape.
- Adjusting Existing Points
- Select the Freehand Interest Area you wish to edit. Its defining points will become visible.
- Hold down the ALT (on Windows) or Option (on Mac) key.
- Click and drag any existing point to a new position.
- Select the Interest Area.
- Hold down the ALT / Option key and move your cursor over an edge where you want to add a point.
- Wait for the cursor to change into a pointer hand.
- Click and drag to create the new point and move it to the desired location.
- Select the Interest Area.
- Hold down the ALT / Option key and click on the point you want to remove. It will be highlighted in red.
- Press the DELETE key.
- Select the Freehand Interest Area you wish to edit. Its defining points will become visible.
