Freehand Interest Areas are defined by a series of points (vertices) that form the shape's outline. You can adjust, add, or remove these points to precisely match the contours of your stimulus.

For broader changes, right-click on any selected Interest Area to access the IA Shape Actions menu, which includes options for rotating, resizing, or converting the shape type.
- Adjusting Existing Points
- Select the Freehand Interest Area you wish to edit. Its defining points will become visible.
- Hold down the ALT (on Windows) or Option (on Mac) key.
- Click and drag any existing point to a new position.
- Select the Interest Area.
- Hold down the ALT (on Windows) or Option (on Mac) key
- Hover your cursor over the specific edge where you want to add a point.
- When the cursor changes to a pointer hand, click and drag to create the new point.
- Select the Interest Area.
- Hold down the ALT (Windows) or Option (Mac) key
- Click on the point you wish to remove. It will be highlighted in red.
- Press the DELETE key.
- Select the Freehand Interest Area you wish to edit. Its defining points will become visible.
