You can organize your data by grouping trials based on any combination of trial variables (e.g., Participant ID, Condition, etc.). This is a powerful method for structuring your analysis and navigating large datasets.
How to Group Trials:
Important: The order of variables in the Selected Variables list determines the structure of the tree. Grouping is applied hierarchically from top to bottom. For example, if you place Participant at the top and Condition below it, the Inspector window will display Condition folders nested inside each Participant folder.
How to Group Trials:
- From the main menu, navigate to Edit > Trial Grouping...
- In the dialog box, move the variables you wish to group by into the Selected Variables list on the right.
- Click Regroup.
