You can organize your data by grouping trials based on any combination of trial variables (e.g., participant ID, condition, etc.). This is a powerful way to structure your analysis.
How to Group Trials:
Important: The order of variables in the "Selected Variables" list matters. Trials are grouped hierarchically from top to bottom. For example, if you group by Participant first and then Condition, the Inspector window will show all conditions nested under each participant.
How to Group Trials:
- From the main menu, go to Edit > Trial Grouping....
- In the dialog box, move the variables you want to group by into the "Selected Variables" list on the right.
- Click Regroup.
