FAQ: Why am I seeing Interest Areas from displays outside my Interest Period?

Static Interest Areas do not have start / end times, so all Interest Areas within a given trial will be visible by default. However, Interest Areas can be selectively shown / hidden with respect to the currently selected Interest Period by changing the relevant preferences. Click the  Preferences tab in the Inspector window and select Data Filters. 

• Show Interest Areas Pre Interest Period: will show Interest Areas associated with display screens that were present prior to the current Interest Period.
  
• Show Interest Areas Post Interest Period: will show Interest Areas which are associated with display screens that occur  after the currently selected Interest Period.
  

To only show Interest Areas that are associated with display screens that occur within the currently selected Interest Period, please uncheck both options.

   

Please note that these preferences only hide the Interest Areas from being displayed. It does not prevent them from being included when you generate reports.
