FAQ: The camera image on my host PC is upside down. How do I fix that?
#1
An inverted camera image is typically caused by one of two things: either you are using the wrong Host software for your mount, or you simply need to flip the image using the software controls.

For EyeLink 1000 Desktop Mount Users
If you are using a standard EyeLink 1000 Desktop mount, an inverted image means you have installed the wrong version of the Host software.

There are two distinct software versions, one for mounts where the illuminator is to the left of the camera, and another for mounts where it is to the right.

Download and install the correct EyeLink 1000 Host PC Software version for your specific Desktop mount.

For Primate or Long-Range Mount Users
If you are using the Primate or Long-Range mount with either the EyeLink 1000 or EyeLink 1000 Plus, you can correct the image directly from the Host PC screen.

To change the orientation of the camera image, click the image rotation/flip buttons at the top of the Host software interface to orient the image correctly.
