Corrupt calibration files can occasionally cause issues with the Host PC software. A common symptom is the system working perfectly during calibration but failing to track the eye during the validation or recording stage. The eye's thumbnail image may show a "BOUNDS" error, and the tracking crosshairs typically disappear.
This can happen if a "poor" calibration model is inadvertently accepted, which sometimes occurs with difficult participants like infants. It can also be caused by incorrect screen dimensions or distances being entered on the Host PC.
The solution is to delete the corrupt files after ensuring the Host PC has the correct screen information.
