Supported Video Formats
Current versions of Experiment Builder support video files in MP4, AVI and MOV formats.
Video files should be imported into your project via the library manager: Click Edit > Library Manager > Video tab > + button. If the video is compatible, its first frame will appear in the lower panel.
Troubleshooting Incompatible Videos
Since formats like AVI and MP4 are containers, some videos may not be playable even if they have the correct file extension.
If Experiment Builder cannot import your video, you will need to re-encode it using third-party software. We recommend using either Pazera or following this guide to convert videos with FFMPEG.
Playing Audio from Video Files
To preserve precise timing, Experiment Builder handles video and audio tracks separately. You cannot play embedded audio directly from a video file. To play the audio alongside your video, you must first extract it and save it as a .WAV file.
