This example illustrates:
  • How to present Multiline text and allow for automatic word-based IAs generation
  • How to use Python Custom Class for multi-line text entry
Description:

Each trial in this experiment consists of the presentation of a text on top with space for writing the translation at the bottom. Press Enter after typing to move on the next trial. In Data Viewer it is possible to see the top text with word-based IAs as well as an image of the final typed text just before the Enter key is pressed. There will be time-stamped messages marking the key presses in each trial.

Instructions:
  1. Download the Multiline_TextEntry_translation.ebz example from this message.
  2. Launch the Experiment Builder application.
  3. Unpack the Multiline_TextEntry_translation.ebz file to a location on your Experiment Builder PC with "File menu -> Unpack".
  4. Open the project in Experiment Builder.
  5. Deploy the project to a new folder.
  6. Run the Multiline_TextEntry_translation.ebz from the deployed directory.
