Eye-Tracking Open Access Journals

Eye Tracking Open Access Journals

Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

More and more people are publishing eye-tracking research in open-access journals. This is due, in large part, to the increased number of open-access journals as well as greater interest in publishing research that anyone can use and view without paying for access.

For ease and convenience, there is even a Directory of Open Access Journals. This directory not only lists peer-reviewed journals but also has a search function to easily access relevant articles. Along these lines, here is a list of open-access journals that routinely publish eye-tracking articles. These journals are peer-reviewed and fully open access, not hybrid or delayed. If you have some suggestions for this list, let us know (info@sr-research.com). We have also got a full list of EyeLink eye-tracking papers that include open access publications for your convenience.

About Ljiljana Velisavljevic

Lily’s first experience with an eye tracker was in the 1990s with the shiny, sleek, and ultra-modern EyeLink I. Now, she spends her time at SR Research creating software icons and marketing material for the EyeLinks, trying in vain to avoid social media, designing and creating content for the website including writing scientific articles, and more. With a PhD in Psychology, specializing in Brain, Behaviour, and Cognition, and an MSc in Educational Psychology, Lily gravitates toward eye-tracking research involving memory, cognition, vision, and education.
